How to measure backspacing of a wheel

  1. Take the wheel and lay it on a flat surface with the back of the wheel facing up.
  2. Lay a straight edge across the wheel (tire must be off the wheel or deflated) and measure from the mounting pad. This will be the measurement for your backspacing.
